Well here we are in the second week of April already - ages since I last posted...
Again, no excuse - just laziness...

Anyhow, that last 'where is it?' picture was of the Saundersfoot Colliery line passing in front of the company's office, later to become the 'Barbeque' cafe, fronting on to the car park.

The building is still there, though I have no idea of what it is now - I can't get to it with Google street view, and its years since I last visited Saundersfoot!

For this post we've got the image below:

Any ideas?

Now that it is allegedly spring, I have a couple of interesting images to share. Last year I took a photograph nearly every day for a year from roughly the same place, looking out of one of our windows. This first picture was taken on the 9th of April, 2017 (hidden details will say modified in 2018, but that was just to reduce the size)

Now compare it with this picture below, taken from almost the same position, but this year, 2018 and on April the 5th. It really demonstrates how late spring seems to be this year.

On to modelling matters. Pat was tasked with building Cilgerran Castle (in 4mm to the foot scale, I hasten to add, not the actual castle...)
He did a stirling job, and a week ago I put it in the appropriate place on the layout:

It really fits in well, and with a bit of fettling with the background the layout should be quite impressive when it appears at the Aberaeron expo in August.
In the intervening Period, Pats 7mm Narrow Gauge layout will be at Carmarthen Library on May 5th, and all the way up to Bala for the Bank holiday weekend at the end of May - 26/27

Hope to see some of you at one of those venues!
