Patricks last Tuesday, where we sorted out the backscene for Cardigan, as Pat had installed several electro-magnetic uncouplers - which worked! Also tidied up the turntable axis, which was a bit too long. Excellent home-made pizza, with everything on it, including pineapple and anchovies. Washed down with a small glass of french laughing water...

The last couple of days I've been tidying Boncath ready for July 11/12, making the main layout board for Login, and doing a little bit to the quarry section of the TGR. The story goes that the slate was quarried in big slabs, and then trucked back to Cilgerran to the dressing shed for eventual export.
Consequently we had to have a rough cutting shed and crane facilities at the quarry.
Below is the quarry board up to date:

And a couple of pics to show a bit of detail (small amount of Photoshopping to hide gaps)

Off to Chas tomorrow, where he has promised some vintage cheese (some of which he has to chase around the kitchen...)
