Yet another Tuesday come and gone... We had a challenge last night - A friend of Emyr's wife had two 00 locomotives that were poorly, and wondered if we could repair them, so the evening was spent stripping and rebuilding. Only 50% success, but I suppose thats better than zero!

Today I cut a couple of holes in the middle board of the TGR layout. We decided to show a bit of the river bank, and a stream coming down from above the quarry workings and going under the track.
Holes were duly cut, reinforcement built underneath, 25mm polyurethane to fill in, Modroc to contour, and then disgusting gloop to cover the Modroc (the usual PVA, emulsion, plaster, paint...)
This is the river bank, and to the left of the track extra hill contours and the gully for the stream to go under the PW.

Second pic is with the tunnel and quarry section in place.
Cricket AND tennis on TV so I packed up for the day...
