Last weeks meeting was held at Charles' house, where we were treated to an eclectic collection of videos gathered from the internet, followed by a delicious home-made pate and salad:
For 'show-and-tell' Colin brought along his latest Glyn Valley style tram loco:
Pictured below being admired by Pat:
Moving on a week, Tuesday saw us gathering at Colins - if you can call three people a 'gathering' - Chas had to take a trip to North Wales with his son.
Col had set up his N gauge layout. No name for it yet, and we are desperately trying to get him to exhibit it. It really deserves a wider audience.
A couple of shots showing the overall layout:
Moving in closer, a few close-up scenes:
Leighton hall has just pulled in with a passenger train from Paddington:
Whilst outside the station a couple of taxis wait for passengers:
Two steam engines make their way to a local rally:
and a couple of pilot locos are on shed, with the coaling tower in the background:
We finished the evening in the time honoured fashion...
No Chuffers next week, as we have a Cardi-Bach meeting.
