We met at Pats this Tuesday, first time  all four of us together for several weeks, so it was all talk and no modelling, although Patrick showed us the loco that had been giving problems - it was a second-hand white metal kit that Pat rebuilt - he and Colin had to make new coupling rods, then it was discovered the motor magnets were goosed. Pat got a new motor and gear wheel, and he gave us a demo of it running. Success!!!
Celebrated with wine and quiche and a video of Grimy Wet and Rusty engines.

On the home front, I've spent my time building old Superquick kits for Mike's 3mm layout.
They are low relief shops/houses, which I have had to adapt (thanks to Photoshop).
