Nothing to report on the Cardi-Bach front this week, it's all ChufferDuffer modelling.
We met at Colins last night, and he had a couple of things to show us.
First of all he has finished the Herrington Light Industries Patent Electric Turntable No.2, which is scheduled to be fitted to the StDogmaels end of the TGR next week.
Here is a very moving image of it:

and fresh from the paint shop, a very pristine tram loco, which for the first few months of its life was looking very dishevelled, due to my botched attempt at painting. Colin however resurrected it:

Moving up a couple of gauges, Pat had brought along his 7mm NG crane, which you may remember in last weeks post trundling around 'Gorsaf Maes Y Gof'. It has now been suitably weathered, and acquired a name plate and horn:

There is also yet another embryo addition to the 7mm motive power stable. Here shown in its infancy:

The motor being used to drive it is a Mashima, now as rare as a hens tooth, as they have stopped manufacturing them (motors, that is. Not hens teeth...).

Our last image for this week shows a couple of oil drums on stands, once again the work of Pat, to be placed on the new &mm NG layout... (still being discussed)

We repaired to the lounge for video entertainment, with Pork Pies and excellent salad prepared for us by Marianne, Colins wife.
Another enjoyable Chufferduffers evening draws to a close...

Nighty-night,
Shaun.
