Bit late this week, but not too late...
Not a lot of news on the Cardi-Bach scene, though I did do duty at the 'Museum' on Tuesday, when Peter and Dawn had two separate  coach parties calling in for afternoon tea, as part of a 'mystery tour'.
Forty passengers on each coach!
Fortunately one followed the other, with half an hour between, which gave the teashop ladies time to clear the tables in the marquee in readiness.
After tea, each party descended on the Heritage Centre before driving off. Several sales resulted, so a good afternoon all round.

That was Tuesday afternoon. - After giving a hand to clear up after the second coach had departed, I just made it back to Cilgerran in time to pick Pat up and make our way along to Colins, for the weekly ChufferDuffer meeting.

Making one of its rare appearances was Colins N guage layoutout, which he had set up for us to play with operate...

This a view toward the station:

And looking the other way:

Close-up of the station building:

Colin has promised that he will endeavour to get it ready to exhibit, maybe sometime next season.

Patrick did a sterling job with the controller - here we have a loco running down to the turntable and then coasting up to the coaling facility. Note the exquisitely made buildings that it goes past.

The video would have been longer, but I had to crop it down to keep under the 100mb limit. Sorry!

One other event that occurred last week was the CADAMM show held at the shire horse centre. Too much going on to show everything, so we will just make do with a shot of C-B's Chair, Emyr Philips doing his MC bit on the microphone....

See you all next week.
